For Narnia!!

So last night the beau and I went off to the movies to check out the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. After receiving movie gift cards for Christmas we were excited for a fun FREE night.haha. So we stocked up on some snacks prior to the movie. And since I received a large Longchamp bag for Christmas it was the perfect bag for sneaking in snacks. Our snacks of choice included Ghirardelli milk chocolate, sweet tarts, water, and we got the snack pack at the theatre. Which happen to be so cute! It was a little box with popcorn, a drink, and candy. We upgraded our candy so the beau could have sour patch kids since he's not a fan of popcorn. But on to the movie. We saw the 3-d version and normally I'm not impressed with 3-D, but it was AMAZING!! Probably one of the best movies I have seen this entire year! I recommend seeing it if you haven't yet.  I haven't seen the second one, so I still have some catching up to do, but the third one still made sense.

Well I hope everyone is having a great after Christmas and not depressed from the "Christmas Blues". I'm headed off to Atlanta for the New Years with a group from my church for Passion. Have a happy New Year!!

Christmas Eve Eve

Hello all! As Christmas is approaching (holy smokes its one day away) Christmas exchanges have been taking place. Tonight was my Christmas date with the lovely Beau. And boy did he spoil me this year. First we got all snazzied up and went to our favorite place for dinner, Carrabbas. It was so delicous. After we ate we finally opened our gifts. I personally love to give, so I was super excited about his presents. This year I got him a Vineyard Vines whale bowtie, some croakies, and we painted ceramic plates together. (Side note: we did gifts in three because we've been together threes years, and it worked out perfectly)

Gift number #1 for me was a Coach cupcake keychain

Next was Ralph Lauren pearl earrings which I had been hinting at :)

And we had our plates which were super cute!
He mentioned there is something from Lilly on the way, it just wasn't here yet. So needless to say after, Ralph Lauren, Coach, and Lilly I have had a very Merry Christmas thus far.  We finished the evening with some yummy drinks from Starbucks, and a drive through some neighborhoods to see the lights. It was absolutely perfect. Once we got back we attempted our gingerbread house which we lost interest in after about 10 minutes. haha. But I am so blessed to have such a wonderful beau. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Break

I have finally made it to Christmas Break, and lets hope I can resume my blogging. School sure is tiresome.
Anyways today I packed up and drove home, and I get to be home for a month. Yippee! Tonight included making dinner with my boy, making him some snickerdoodle cookies, goofing off, and watching Horton Hears a Who.
If you haven't watched this movie, do! Its sooo cute. At first I was confused with everything going on and thought it was a bit ridiculous, but thats Seus for you. And after having to study statistics for the past few days I needed some ridiculousness.

Upon arriving into town I picked up the boy's and mine plates we painted over Thanksgiving break. They came out really great, and I'm really looking forward to our gift exchange. Heres a a glimpse of his..

I went with a Vineyard Vines whale, in navy and red. He got accepted to his choice of school that day, so I figured why not go for the future school colors. We had such a great time painting our plates. If you're looking for a fun date I would suggest painting ceramics together. It not only is a huge stress relief, but super cute too!

Now its just a nursing application left to do and I will have no serious thinking left to do . Praise the Lord!!

Rabbit Rabbit!

Its December first. Yay! And it snowed this morning. Bonus!!
Anyways, I have about eight day until I'm free from the University of Tennessee, as the library is holding me prisoner. uggggh. But I'm keeping in good company, I have my stress relief spray to lighten the study room, and I'm currently lusting after the Kate Spade website. Its awful, I know.

Maybe Santa will bring me this..

The Kate Spade This year I will bangle,
I can only dream..

Happy Studying!!

Break Time

So we have finally made it to break yall. I could not be anymore happier. Trying not to think about the upcoming finals, as I did prep before leaving. Lets just say Thanksgiving is becoming more of a favorite holiday because not only is it a break from school, but some time for serious eating. Yay!!

So far on break I have watched endless hours of tv, I never do this at school, and baking. Today the boy and I went to Kiln' Time to paint our ceramics for Christmas. We choose 8" asian style plates and painted them for each other. I went with a Vineyard Vines whale and some stripes, and he did my monogram. So sweet! And of course he painted in pink and green. :-) Afterwards, we went to Five Guys, yummmy, and then to Starbucks. My boy sure does know how to care for his girl. Tonight we caught up on Glee and made oreo balls. I'll post pictures soon, promise. I know I have been awhol lately. Truth, I'm caught up in school. Ugggh.

Anyways, can't wait for tomorrow. The Macy's day parade is my favorite and I can't wait to watch it. And the food is going to be so good. We always head tot he movies after dinner, and this year the boy is joining in on the festivities. After the movie we plan on joining his family for the evening, and Miracle on 36th Street. Yippee!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Saturday Football

There is nothing better than a beautiful Saturday with some of your friends watching your team play. I have come to love football over the past couple of years. Today was homecoming, so there was plenty of festivities to attend. First off, tailgating. Since the game was at noon, we had a brunch tailgate. With the works, it was fabulous. It came to a shock to me when I found out the boy hadn't had steak and potatoes for breakfast before. He absolutely loved them though! After tailgating we met up with my best friend, Franny.

Then we made our way towards the stadium. And as it turned out, another one of our close friends was here too. So we finally got another three musketeer picture. Not only was the weather perfect today, but it was hot. And when I say hot, I got sunburned..in November!!! Just a little upsetting to get burned in November, hellooo Thanksgiving is eleven days away! The game was terrific, we had excellent seats. Plus a final score of 54-14 isn't too shabby. This being said after the horrible season we have had thus far. After the game and manueverting through some sticky traffic we headed for dinner. We ate at this place called Puelos. It was so delicious, but I definitely had too much to eat. After dinner the boy headed back home. Sad to see him go, but I'll be home so soon for Thanksgiving break. Yay! I'm so excited about going home for the holiday. Hope everyone had a great Saturday!!

Thanksmas

Sooo I'm a slacker and terribly sorry readers! Not much has been happening around here lately. Rooms broke it to me Sunday night she is moving out next semester, not because of me but other reasons. So now I'm on the search for a roommate. TKB has been fabulous. Love him dearly, and can't wait to see him on Saturday!! Yay! Christmas break is less than a month away and I can't wait to go home for a MONTH! School has finally slowed down. Took my last test before finals on tuesday and now I'm sailing smoothly. Got only two weeks till Thanksgiving and teachers are canceling classes like crazy! So I'm pretty thankful. Found out today that Elf, my all time favorite holiday movie, is going to start playing on the weekends soon. Super excited about that, and mom and I planned the Thanksgiving menu last night. Ladies and gents, we spent TWO hours talking about food. Now normally our convos are about 20 minutes top, but seriously two hours?! Needless to say, we got my wonderful friends Christmas presents ordered and I can't wait to give it to them! Yay! Hope everyone is having a wonderful week!!

Southern Gents

What exactly do I just love about a souther gentleman? Lemme just make a list :)

  • Opens & HOLDS doors for ladies ( emphasis on holds, cuz beau opened the door the other day but forgot to hold on to it, needless to say I had to do some quick dodging, it was a funny moment.
  • Says please and thanks
  • Yes sirs and yes ma'ams are frequently used
  • Dresses properly (ahem no sweatpants)
  • When a lady runs into a gent, even if its her fault, the gentleman always apologizes for him being in the way
  • They call when they say the will
  • Always hold your hand when crossing a street
  • Orders the perfect meal for you
  • Cooks dinner for you
  • Always tries to impress the parentals
  • Polite and courteous
  • Friendly
  • And I can't forget the accent! - This my favorite. Luckily the beau humors me and when I ask him to repeat words for me he does willingly. Just something about a cute boy with a southern drawl, love it!

Ah, being southern is just so fantastic. Rooms and I had a discussion on this at dinner the other night. And we honestly couldn't understand why anybody wanna be northern. We came to the conclusion the north is for only short weekend getaways for shopping, and that's about it. Well time for Panera club!

Polish Please

If you know me I have a few pet peeves that generally don't bother me, but when it comes across my path, I have to say something. Well yesterday while cleaning at work I came across several nail clippings,in a restaurant of all places! Seriously people, stop biting your nails. Nobody wants to see bit off pieces of nails around them when they're trying to eat. Gross! Personally, I always keep my nails trimmed and polished. And I never let them chip. I was taught the first thing someone sees when being first introduced are A) your nails and B) your smile. So as to make a good impression with a firm handshake, soft hands and polished non chipped nails are a must. Here is one of the colors I've been wearing lately this fall, and its become a favorite around my circle of friends. Enjoy!

Finally November

Okay, so October, school-wise was horrendous. So much going and too much work to accomplish. Sorry for the lack of posts within the past week. I just turned in my last project and finally can catch up on all the homework I have neglected for the past week. Yay (note sarcasm).

On the positive, this weekend was fun. Somewhat rushed, but I enjoyed spending an entire weekend with just my boy. Hope everyone has had a great start to the week. Don't forget to go vote today! I sadly won't be able to. Happy Election day!

Fall Getaway

This weekend couldn't have been any more fun had I asked for it. So lets recap.
Friday afternoon we left and headed for my hometown. We got to my home, freshened up, and left for dinner with my beau and best friend and a friend of hers. We had a nice Japanese dinner and once the sun set we headed towards the cornmaze. It was too scary but we really had a great time! Afterwards we went back to my home and watched the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It was a fun scary night. Saturday we woke up to a wonderful country breakfast prepared by my parents. They're the sweetest. Then we left for the fire tower. It was a little drive through a country town and the weather was fantastic. The leaves were changing and it was so beautiful! We drove part way up the mountain and had to hike the rest. But wow was it a gorgeous hike. God's beauty was all around us.
On the way
Overall the hike didn't take too long. And the fire tower was a little scary, but the beau held on to me tightly. He wasn't letting me go anywhere.
On the tower
After the hike we headed to the blue hole. It was busy, but so majestically beautiful. Seriously, if you ever find yourself in east Tennessee, check out the Blue Hole. You won't be let down.
SBM & Me
My friend SBM and her boy came home with me for the weekend and loved the hike. We took so many pictures and laughed like crazy. After all the hiking we were a little hungry so we headed to my favorite fast food place, Pals. Its only in the Tri-cities, so SBM & her boy were in for a treat. We spent the afternoon recuperating. We got all dolled up, and headed towards Johnson City for the evening. We had tickets to the Chris Tomlin concert, which was such a blessing. To worship with my beau and some great friends was wonderful.
At the concert
This morning we got up early and went to church. After church we all went to lunch together and then we had to head back to school. Kinda sad coming back to school, but I'll be home next weekend for another fabulous weekend with my boy. This weekend seriously felt like it last a week, and thats exactly what I needed. God is so good, and He really blessed us all this weekend. Can't wait to have them back up for some Christmas ice skating!

Dreaming away..

So this morning, while not paying attention in class (note I really need to stop this bad habit), I stumbled upon my dream home. Like the PERFECT home. Everything I ever wanted in a home. Its go the 4 bedrooms, 2 full bath, one half bath, a kitchen with and island and bar, a breakfast nook, formal dining, family and living room, a deck, sunroom, and the absolute best front porch I've ever seen. And not only is the home perfect, but its located on Daniel Island right there at Charleston, aka mine and the beaus favorite southern city. Ah, to just pick and move would be wonderful, alas I still need to graduate college with a degree, boo. But I sent the house to the beau, I hope he approves because I really want a house like this some day.

Wedding Wednesday

The Wedding

So I just finished Nicholas Sparks The Wedding. Not only was the book completely romantic, as all Sparks books are, it wasn't sad at all! I love reading this every minute. If you're looking for a good read I highly suggest this book. I only read it before class or bed and it only took me a little over a week. I kept waiting for there to be a death or something sad, as usual tear-jerker but nope, none. And with it being the sequel to The Notebook it was wonderful. I really wish there was a movie for this book as it would be phenomenal.
Happy Wednesday Ya'll!

And with my homework done, I had time to finger paint, and read and take a nap all before noon and before work! Yay!! I only had to work like two hours today so that was great, and I got to get my errands done. Not only did I get my errands completed, but M.Loft came with me for Menchies. Pumpkin Party

Well the weekend was a success! Saturday was spent doing some homework and working. Spent most of my Saturday night talking to the beau, I sure do miss him, but not for long as I'll be headed back home on Friday!! Yesterday was absolutely pleasant. The services yesterday morning were so blessing and powerful. God definitely was pouring right on into me. After church I met with my sweet friend S, to work on our BCMB paper. Yuck! But since our other BCMB friends went with us and we did all our work at Panera, the afternoon was alright. I had the best salad, BBQ chopped along with creamy tomato soup, yum! Thankfully all our work was done by mid-afternoon and I was able to head back to campus to work on some more school work. My community group from church had the nursery last night, so we watched the one-year olds. They are just too sweet! I love there little happy faces. After nursery we headed over to another member of groups home for a little fall party. We ate delicious apple crisp, pumpkin bread budding, kettle corn, and cinnamon fluff. It was so so so yummy. We carved our pumpkins after. I got just a little baby pumpkin, as keeping a large pumpkin in my dorm room would not be practical. I was unsure how to carve it at first since it was so small, and something intricate couldn't be done. So I opted for just my monogramm.

I was very happy with how it turned out and had such a wonderful time. Now to go home and carve one with the beau, eek so excited for the weekend!

Happy Monday ya'll!

Square Dance

Okay so quick apology for being gone all week long. I had a major physiology essay test Thursday night and was completely stressed out about it. After a few small breakdowns, and one major breakdown that involved a call to daddy, I was okay and feel pretty good about it.

But moving on to last night. It twas the capper to my horrible stressful week. Our church put on a square dance last night at this beautiful pavilion and it was so much fun! I've never square danced before so I had no idea what to expect, but I am absolutely in love. I wore the cutest little plaid/flannel dress, some brown tights (the dress was super short), my BCBG cowboy boots, my pearls, and of course I needed J. Crew, so I threw in my sparkly brown headband. Needless to say I got many compliments, and that just added to my wonderful stress-free day. Well, we had a caller and doce doed. My first partner, J.Harris was amazing. I was a little clueless but he promenaded me around like the true souther gentleman he was. We were the best partners out of our square hands down. ha! After the dance it was a little chilly, so me and my friend Weezy headed for some starbucks pumpkin spice lattes and home for the night. It was sort of an early night, but I got to spend it talking to the beau. After such a stressful week I'm glad he puts up with me. Now I can't wait for next years square dance!

Sunday luncheons

Today was a sad day, as I had to return back to school after an amazing break, but not before church and lunch. The beau picked me up before church this morning. Only come to find out my sunday school class wasn't meeting due to the fact they all had traveled down to Myrtle Beach for the weekend. This just gave me and franny an excuse to drive around a little and dish out all the gossip we had built up. Church was amazing this morning. The sermon was on why heaven may be silent and it really reached home. After church myself, the beau's family, and franny's family headed over to a favorite mexican restaurant Los Arcos. I love chips and queso!! Lunch was entertaining as always. It made me realize how lucky I am to be surrounded by such great and loving people. After lunch the beau had to bring me home. But not before driving me through my neighborhood. He's the sweetest. He drove extra slow so I could take it in before leaving for school. And not only did he do that, but I managed to convince him to stay over for an extra 30 minutes, even though he has more than enough work to last 5 hours. Like seriously. This evening I headed back to school and it took over an hour to unpack. I really need to quit bringing so much back to school. I don't even have enough space for my winter/fall wardrobe! So saddening, and the fact my closet at home is completely bare! Well I'm almost through all my studies tonight. After finally looking everything over my list wasn't as daunting as I thought it would be, which is very nice. Only got to make it through October and all the hard stuff will be behind me. Shew! And only eleven days till I'm home again & watching Chris Tomlin! Soooo excited! Happy Sunday everyone!!

Me with his glasses. I love being nerdy.

Country Roads

Today was the cherry to the sundae. No joke. Started off a little shaky this morning, but hey, not everything is perfect. And if I didn't have to sail through the storms, I wouldn't be able to enjoy the calm. Anywho, we departed early this morning for Boone, North Carolina. The drive to and from was beautiful. I love the changing of fall. The leaves in North Carolina are magnificent, no seriously. I always make it a point to go to North Carolina during October because of the leaves. Well, we got to Boone around lunch time. Both of us had forgotten it was a game day at Appy state, homecoming nonetheless, oopsie! But made it over to the shopping outlets in Blowing Rock safely. Did some shopping, and met up with my best friend, Franny. Love her to bits. Then we headed over to Panera, love their baked potato soup, and did some browsing in TJ Maxx before we headed to the original Mast General Store. So of course the mountains are gorgeous and I made the beau take some photos, before my camera battery exhausted.
The beau & KJC outside the school house

KJC with the mountains!
We managed to get some candy from the candy store before leaving. Lets just say the beau was very excited about his gummy worms. Along the drive home we stopped at some places, including the lake for more photo-ops. Overall we had a fantastic day and I can't wait to be back home for another visit.

Just for laughs

Today was just a funny day all around. This morning mom and I did some light shopping. We hit up Dick's, Michael's, Ulta, and Books-A-Million. So happy that I finally purchased my copy of True Prep.

true-prep.jpg

And after spending a few minutes perusing the nail polish selection at Ulta we finally settled on Chubby Cheeks, and Honey Bun. The College Prepster posted recently about Chubby Cheeks and I thought I'd try it out, and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect shade for fall, since I normally go for the bright pinks this was perfect! After some shopping we met up with dad for a little more. And then the beau joined us this evening for dinner at my favorite, Cheddars, and to see Jeff Dunham. Now, I have never seen Jeff Dunham in person before and I was laughing so hard I was in tears. My sides were hurting. Please go look him up on Youtube if you have not already. His skit with Walter is my personal favorite. It was such a great evening with my parents and beau and we highly enjoyed the show. I believe everyone needs a good side splitting laugh every now and then. Usually if I'm down and need a laugh I turn to my Dane Cook playlist, but now I will be searching Youtube for Jeff Dunham videos. Haha! Well goodnight all!

October Awesomeness

Finally, fall break has arrived! After finishing up midterms yesterday, and loading the car, I headed home. Now, I haven't been home since starting school, which is a big deal for me. I'm a little under two hours from home, so not visiting is unusual for me. But anyways, the ride home was beautiful. Clear blue skies, and the leaves were starting to change. I immediately came home, showered and changed, who wants to look like they've been in a car for a couple of hours? Slipped into a  Lilly dress and went to meet the lovely beau with some sweetie teas. He was so happy to see me, just love him to death. We headed off to the mall so I could re-apply for my holiday job at Bath & Body, such a wonderful season job, and I immediately got an interview. Yay!! After the mall we headed back to my house to cook dinner. Never have I cooked an entire meal completely by myself so this was a little challenge. Of course the beau helped me with the chicken, I hate cold slimy dead things, and we BBQed it. I also managed to whip up mashed potatoes, green beans, and mac & cheese. And for desert some chocolate chip fudge filled cookies. It was so delicious and everyone enjoyed it. After desert the beau and I settled in for a movie and a quiet evening. It feels so good to be home. Hope everyone is enjoying this crisp fall weather!

Check.

So now that its almost fall break my excitement has exceeded. So much so that I got up before the sun this morning and went walking with one of my dearest friends. But between today, and tomorrow afternoon, I have lots to accomplish. I always feel better if I can write down my lists to check things off , on some cute stationary. Check out
Boatman Gellar for some cute stationary like this..

Loooove it! So cute!

Breakdowns & Blessings

Well as of about 24 hours ago I had my first breakdown of the semester. Pretty impressed I made it almost through the month of September. Anywho, this has been a rough week, not because I had any tests, but I've had a lot of decision making. Lets recap from yesterday. The day started off pretty normal. Went through history, almost snoozing, and then nutrition class, yet again a bore. But after class I had some errands to run. Immediately left campus, cleaned out my car for the trek home next week, and drove by our church to take care of some business for January. Came back to campus and met with a dear friend for lunch. It was so nice to catch up and hear about her semester, she's a freshman here this year and is still adjusting. We're road tripping it home together next week for the break, so I'm sure it will be a fun ride. Well after lunch talked to moms for a little while and caught up with J. trott and the happenings in her life. By then it was 3 and at 3 p.m. every wednesday I meet with my study group for one of my classes. These people have seriously become some close friends and I enjoy study group together. Well during study group is about when it all went down hill. Not only did I come to the realization I had a quiz the next day over an entire chapter I still had my regular course load. Which involved mailing off forms, filling out forms, history reading, and studying. But thankfully, my boy called me and got me through it. I swear, he's the biggest gift God could send me. He made my smile and reminded me to breathe, as I have to remind him daily, the poor thing can be a stress ball sometimes. Got most of the work done and hit the hay to get up early today to finish the work. Well the day went well, made it through classes and all. Now its just the weekend hanging over my head. I should be excited right that its the weekend and I should be doing fun stuff. Well rather than hanging with friends, you can find me in the library all day Saturday and Sunday. Here's my shout-out to midterms, I hate you. And tomorrow, although I only have one class, I'm working two different jobs for a total of 12 hours. This should be quite interesting. Good news is though I will most likely be in bed by 10 tomorrow evening, lame I know on a friday night in college. Oh well!

Catching up with friends this week sure has been great. Today I caught with the Nurse Chrissy. We talked all about her wedding details. She's so excited and she should be. Her and her beau are so perfect for each other, I just love em! Everything else will surely fall into place this week. Happy Friday everyone!

Fall as arrived!

Today, fall officially arrived in my book. And what does that  mean? Starbucks finally restocked their pumpkin spice lattes, I wore a scarf, and there was crispness in the air. Yesiree I was happy. Never mind the dreary overcast might rain look outside. Oh no nothing was stopping me today. I couldn't help but smile on the way to classes. And not to mention the boy complimented me this morning. Who doesn't love being complimented at 7 a.m.?! So last night  I went out with L.C. as mentioned yesterday. Us and her friend Emily, both from my hometown area, met at Naples. Which was amazing! Not only was the decor super cute Italian, but the service was excellent as well. After enjoying my huge plate of spaghetti, at half price, and some delicious bread we made our way to Crossroads. Now, if you're living in the Knoxville area this is something you need to attend. Its every Monday night and it's an intense Bible study. Last night was on marriage. Its a new series we just started and I'm highly enjoying it, as like 99% of the population I plans on getting married some day. Ephesians 5:20-21 was our focus and God sure did pour into me. My eyes were opened to new aspects and I'm really excited about this series. Hope everyone is enjoying this fall weather!

Rainy Monday.

Today was a rainy day. But the yellow I wore brightened it up some. And the fact I had new rainboots to jump in puddles with. I think some other students were annoyed, but they can't take my joy. Classes were a breeze. Not much work this week, its next week that will be death. Today has been a Michael Buble, and coffee day. Not much productivity going on, but yet there isn't really anything needed doing. Tonight my friend L.C. and I are going to Naples for spaghetti. Yum! Then Crossroads for some awesome Bible studying. Can't wait! Hope everyone is having just as good a Monday as I am! If not, at least Glee and One Tree Hill are coming on tomorrow night. Yippee!

Family Weekend

This weekend was parents weekend. I love seeing my parents, they're just precious. Well my Friday included dinner at Mellow Mushroom and then cookies and coffee at my friend A.W.'s apartment. We enjoyed our night in watching 17 Again. I mean who doesn't love watching Zac Effron exit a car over and over again? And the fact the first 10 minutes he's shirtless? Yummmy! Saturday's kickoff time was set for 12:21. So that means super early tailgating. Went to pick Momma and Daddy up around 10 and then we headed over to the stadium. Now lemme just brag on my parents a little. They try to visit almost every other weekend, and when they don't visit I always get some sort of card in the mail just sending a hug, and usually a Cosmo (which I love!). So when mom and dad arrived Saturday I knew they had something for me. And they pulled through, pumpkin chocolate chip muffins. My all time favorite fall treat. And mom made an entire batch just for me. I'm pretty special. Anyways, we took part in Salute to the Hill, a UT tradition and made our way to our seats.

In front of Neyland.
We had excellent seats right in the end zone. And practically nobody sitting around us, so plenty of leg room. The game was a tough one. Can't believe it was double over time with UAB, such a disgrace. But my Vols pulled out a win. I personally just enjoyed hanging with my parents, but a win was nice too. After the game we headed to dinner.   I got to finally enjoy some southern cooking, fried chicken, mac & cheese, and green beans. Then we ended the evening with some shopping. It was a great Saturday and I'm so sad to see the weekend come to a close. As now I have to head back to the library. Yuck! This week isn't as stressful, but two midterms are slowly approaching next week. Prayers please! Hope everyone had a  wonderful weekend!

Productivity.

Thats right. Just call me a machine. This week has been crazy fast! But I'm happy with it, that just means fall break is right around the corner. So, this week was filled with some tests, quizzes, meetings, and coffee of course. After a little freak out about some stats homework everything was good. I'm becoming to realized how blessed I am. Now, I know this sounds cliche, but I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. I have my boy, who is so close to God its inspirational to many, a family that loves like no other, and friends who pick me up even when I don't know I'm down. This has been the most blessed year. Last year, a struggle, this year, blissful.
So tonight, premiere of Grey's Anatomy! Loved it! Can you imagine getting your face split right down the middle? It was so gross and I could barely watch. Normally I enjoy the gory stuff, weird I know, but tonight I wanted to vomit.  It was so nice to just sit on a couch, eat some homemade cookies, and enjoy each other's company. And getting closer to friends is always a plus. This weekend is parents weekend. So excited to spend some time with mom and dad. Fingers crossed that it doesn't rain!

Today's to-do list. Since, facebook fell off the internet for a good hour, all was accomplished before 5 p.m. As J. Trott would say," done and done". Love it! I've accomplished every list this week. Now just to keep it up!

Life is Good.

Life is so good right now. Quick weekend recap. Saturday was the Florida game. The boy and family came in. I had an early meeting at Victoria Secret, back for a quick change, and time to meet the boys. After I got some things settled me and the boy went to play cornhole with the family. The boy surprised me, he's actually an excellent player! After eating a few snacks we headed over to the other side of campus for tailgating with my church. Our college pastor had the greatest invention for tailgaters.
A cupholder attached to the plate. And it was durable too! After tailgating we went to participate in the Vol Walk and welcome our players in. Then we met up with Franny & Reid for The Salute to The Hill.

It was really enjoyable, although the heat was unbearable. We stopped for some drinks afterwards at Starbucks and back to the room to cool off a bit. The game started around 3:30 and we made our way to our seats. Although being seated in the upper level we still had a great seats. The heat was almost too much for us, we had to take cover in the shade for a bit. Even though our Vols lost, we still had a great time. Anytime spent with him is amazing. Saturday night was just spent in cooking dinner and studying a bit. This week is going well. Staying busy with classes and work. It's almost too much to handle at times, but I know God has my back. He can strengthen me and get me through anything. And I know His plan is so great for me that I fear nothing. Hope everyones week is going well. Tonight I'm enjoying One Tree Hill & Glee. This is making for one great night!
