Sometimes you fall, but get back up!

Hello my lovely followers!

So last week, I took my first anatomy exam of the semester. Not only did I bust my tushy studying for this thing, I believed I was over prepared. Well, my score didn't reflect that so much. Win some lose some right? So after I cried to my professor, first time I've ever done this, and my mother, I had to dust myself off. Time to move on and keeping looking forward. I had to re-evaluate the way I study and prepare for anatomy. So now I'm studying, and the next exam isn't till mid March. uggh. It never stops. bihvar. Any who, I'm feeling so much better now because I'm for once ahead of the game. Yay!

As for my weekend, it was AMAZING! Me and my girlies headed to Nashville to stay with a friend. We had so much fun. I have a friend attending Bellmont in Nashville, so while the girlies went to a concert, me and him headed over to Green Hills mall. First off, I loved this mall, hello Kate Spade store! After some window shopping we headed for the Cheesecake Factory to indulge. I got the Godiva Chocolate cheesecake and it was delicious! I absolutely adore the Cheesecake Factory. Afterwards he showed me the sights of downtown Nashville, got to see TSwifts loft, and the rest of his campus which was beautiful! Much nicer than the concrete jungle of Knoxville. So far this week has treated me pretty nicely. Tonight I attended my final international event for the year. I went to Bangladesh night which was really fun! I even participated and got a henna tattoo.

Hope everyone is having a lovely week!

Because there's a lot going on in there..

Sooo, got a lot on my mind tonight. First of, lets say the beginning of this week was rough. Not school wise really, which kind of frustrates when people try to compare their life to mine. No, your not having empathy right now, your talking yourself up. K. Alright thats off my chest. My week was rough A) a family member went missing last week, which is hard when it actually happens to you. B) My brother was in the ER on monday. So yes, that was a little emotionally rough.

But lemme just say God is good. I might have had an anatomy exam that was really tough, but the Lord blessed me with a weekend that was so good. And He has surrounded me with people that are lifting me up. If you haven't I would recommend cutting out those who pull you down. Also, set some weekly attainable goals for yourself. Like me, I have a heart for the church, and my ministry is within the church. So this week I have set one goal that can be easily attainable. Now on my part its just setting 15 minutes aside and actually following through.

I hope everyone is going to have a great Valentines Day and enjoys themselves. And if you didn't know, Jesus loves you. He loves you unconditionally.

Crayola Skies

Helloooooo new followers! Welcome to my little world here.

This Super Sunday was my first that was actually extremely enjoyable. This morning included a great church service, followed by lunch with my beaus family. They are so much fun and I enjoy spending my time with them. After lunch we opted for our comfy cozy sunday clothes and headed back to my house. Where the beau worked on some things for school and I finished a philosophy paper. Yuck! I def think it was probably one of my worst papers, heres to having my fingers crossed my professor likes it! He took a little nap, and lets just say how cute it was to watch him sleep. We had a nice little dinner with the parentals and watched the game. Needless to say I don't think the halftime show was top notch. With all this technology why couldn't the microphones at least work properly?? Anyways, we had such a lovely day together. I can't believe we had gone so long apart, it feels like we are always together. I guess thats what its like when you carry someone in your heart.  Being separated for a month is def going to be hard, but I know we can do it. Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend is preparing for a cute Valentines. We had Valentines this weekend, and it was amazing.

New Year!

Hello dearies! Sorry for such the long hiatus! School is back and in full swing and I'm loving this semester, the classes, and the people. First off, I have my own room this semester, rooms moved into her sorority dorm. So since I have my own room I get to be as much of an organizational and list making freak.haha! Anyways thought I would share some songs with you all that I have picked up the last week or two since school started back. These songs really get me pumped and cheered up when I'm having what I call "bad moment" ( as in depressing).

Five Years Time- Noah & The Whale
Taylor Swift- Sweet Tea & God's Graces
Huey Lewis & The News- Its Alright
Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeroes- Home
Randy Backman- Takin Care of Business

Hope these help to keep everyone jammin and moving right along with our busy days. Today my theme is Takin Care of Business because I am doing such. Have a great Thursday!!

Winter Break Recap

So tomorrow I am finally making the trek back to school. Yes, I am the last of my friends and I'll admit I have been putting it off for a while. There are new beginnings to look forward to this semester but not before I reflect on my amazing winter break.
It started off with of course snow and ended with snow.

So many parties were to attend at the beginning of the break. And then it was a trip to Dollywood with some friends which was incredible.

Then Christmas came, and as I said before my boy did spoil be rotten. We had such a great time together. Then came the New Year. Which started with a bang. Literally a bang, almost blew up dear Weezy's front door. Most definitely a memorable night. Then came Passion, which was more than life changing.

And this last week at home has been pure bliss. Every day just hanging out with the beau has been so enjoyable. First this past Thursday we went and visited with the grandparents, who are just precious. And then we went to dinner at our favorite restaurant and had incredible service (this is very unusual for us). After dinner we visited a Lifeway Christian bookstore. I was in need of a new devotional. So after literally an hour of browsing and sitting in the floor looking at Bibles I left with a new devotional and the beau with an early Valentines Day present, a Bible. I don't this anyone puts at much thought into a Bible as much as we do. One of my next favorite nights was our homemade pizza night. We went grocery shopping, which is one of our favorite things to do together. We collected all of our ingredients, and rented a movie just in time to make it home before some snow. We made Hawaiian pizza, the beaus favorite. And it was so yummy! I recommend making your own pizza whenever possible. For just $12 we had enough for two pizzas! Thats cheaper than ordering a pizza.

After we made our pizza, and some fudge filled cookies we just curled up and watched a great movie. And I don't know what it was about the night, but we had so much fun just being silly and relaxing at home. But now its time to head to school. Only three weeks till the beaus birthday and I can't wait to be home with him again. Hope everyone is off to a great week!!

For Narnia!!

So last night the beau and I went off to the movies to check out the new Chronicles of Narnia movie. After receiving movie gift cards for Christmas we were excited for a fun FREE night.haha. So we stocked up on some snacks prior to the movie. And since I received a large Longchamp bag for Christmas it was the perfect bag for sneaking in snacks. Our snacks of choice included Ghirardelli milk chocolate, sweet tarts, water, and we got the snack pack at the theatre. Which happen to be so cute! It was a little box with popcorn, a drink, and candy. We upgraded our candy so the beau could have sour patch kids since he's not a fan of popcorn. But on to the movie. We saw the 3-d version and normally I'm not impressed with 3-D, but it was AMAZING!! Probably one of the best movies I have seen this entire year! I recommend seeing it if you haven't yet.  I haven't seen the second one, so I still have some catching up to do, but the third one still made sense.

Well I hope everyone is having a great after Christmas and not depressed from the "Christmas Blues". I'm headed off to Atlanta for the New Years with a group from my church for Passion. Have a happy New Year!!

Christmas Eve Eve

Hello all! As Christmas is approaching (holy smokes its one day away) Christmas exchanges have been taking place. Tonight was my Christmas date with the lovely Beau. And boy did he spoil me this year. First we got all snazzied up and went to our favorite place for dinner, Carrabbas. It was so delicous. After we ate we finally opened our gifts. I personally love to give, so I was super excited about his presents. This year I got him a Vineyard Vines whale bowtie, some croakies, and we painted ceramic plates together. (Side note: we did gifts in three because we've been together threes years, and it worked out perfectly)

Gift number #1 for me was a Coach cupcake keychain

Next was Ralph Lauren pearl earrings which I had been hinting at :)

And we had our plates which were super cute!
He mentioned there is something from Lilly on the way, it just wasn't here yet. So needless to say after, Ralph Lauren, Coach, and Lilly I have had a very Merry Christmas thus far.  We finished the evening with some yummy drinks from Starbucks, and a drive through some neighborhoods to see the lights. It was absolutely perfect. Once we got back we attempted our gingerbread house which we lost interest in after about 10 minutes. haha. But I am so blessed to have such a wonderful beau. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!!
